With the acceleration in digitalization, in the usage of Cloud and SaaS solutions, BuyIn’s Information Technology (IT) department is becoming more and more key for our mother companies. This department is bundling the global responsibility for strategic sourcing for both groups’ IT demands, and this also includes the IT demands coming from the B2B customer solutions offered by Orange Business and T-Systems.

Procurement IT Hardware has worldwide commercial responsibility for the categories Servers, Storage and Workplaces as well as for the corresponding services.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Innovate & Strategize: Develop and implement cutting-edge sourcing strategies that align with both short-term and long-term business goals, elevating our organization to a best-in-class level in a global environment.
  
• Supplier Landscape: Identify potential suppliers and conduct in-depth market analysis to build a reliable supplier network. Drive alignment between DT & Orange.
  
• Negotiate & Partner: Forge strong partnerships with suppliers to secure the best terms, quality, and delivery reliability.
  
• Optimize Performance: Monitor and improve supplier performance, ensuring quality, timely delivery, cost efficiency, and sustainability.
  
• Collaborate Internally: Work with sales, engineering, and finance teams to execute the sourcing strategy seamlessly.
  
• Manage Relationships: Develop strategies to handle complex cross-category and cross-domain supplier relationships.
  
• Lead Transformation: Set up and moderate meetings with executive stakeholders to drive transformation projects beyond the usual business scope.
  
• Stay Ahead: Keep up with the latest market trends and developments to provide top-notch advice to your stakeholders.

ABOUT YOU

You hold a University degree, a master or a bachelor in the area of Business Administration, Economics, Business Information Technology, Supply Chain Management or a qualification of the same level.

Your Knowledge & Experience:

• Procurement Pro: You’ve got solid experience in procurement and a knack for negotiating sourcing projects (think NT, IT, CE, platforms, supplier landscape, tech trends, and business models).
• Project Leader: You’ve led projects and negotiated large, complex contracts like a boss.
• Financial Savvy: You’re comfortable with financial metrics, tools, and processes (e.g., SmartAnalytics, price curves, PowerBI).
• Tech-Savvy: You know your way around IT hardware and supply chain management.
• Legal Basics: You have a basic understanding of contract law.
• Globetrotter: You’re open to traveling and exploring new places.
• Cross-Functional Expert: You’ve got experience in international procurement, program management and business strategy at a senior level.
• Bilingual: You’re fluent in French & English, German is a plus
• Software Skills: You’re proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Edge, and Outlook.
• Networker: Having connections with key IT suppliers is a bonus.
