Description of domain/function:

The Devices & Platforms (D&P) procurement domain bears worldwide commercial responsibility for the categories of Device Partnerships, Home Devices & Services and TV & Communication Services.

Your responsibilities

As a Strategic Sourcer (m/f) you will mainly took over transversal tasks in the Digital Home Devices (DHD), i.e. boxes sub-category, but also lead procurement projects of various complexity at corporate and local level as well as the relationship with selected suppliers of different size. You develop and maintain transversal tools, carry out transversal tasks with related transversal teams such as risk management, demand plan, sub-category strategies drive the execution of the implemented global category strategy and define/execute project strategies.

You are also responsible for the achievement of targets and provide continued support to countries on signed deals during the whole contract duration. This includes the following duties:

• Transversal activities: market intelligence, benchmarks, spend management, risk management, anti-trust review, country calls, suppliers’ business review, catalogue, price monitoring, market share tool.
• Analyze and manage the countries demands as set out in the Demand Plan Tool
• Lead demand-based RFPs & RFQs and support countries during implementation phases
• Define/execute cost optimization levers and realization plans
• Perform active contract controlling and manage change requests for contracts in place
• Support and participate to category strategy development and writing

Your profile

You hold a University degree or an MBA in Procurement, Business Administration, Economics, Business Information Technology or a qualification of the same level.

You also possess the following skills and experience:

• Professional experience in procurement of 3+ years minimum
• Very good knowledge of telecommunication or network technologies
• Experience in coordination of large projects in big international organizations and stakeholder management
• Good knowledge of contract law
• Capacity to work on a multi-cultural and fast-changing environment
• Business developer mindset
• Willingness to travel
• Fluency in English and French, German as a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft tools: PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI
