Description of domain/function:

Network Domain organization consists of 5 technical domains covering Radio Access Networks, Transport and Transmission, Core and Control, Managed Services and Passive Infrastructure. Our sourcing projects are targeting to optimize three main streams : economic efficiency, technical effectiveness and sustainability - using a digital toolset.

In Passive Infrastructure, our team negotiates a large range of hardware equipment: Antenna Line Devices (Passive Antennas, RF Devices, active DAS, Repeaters, etc.), Fiber Optical Cables and additional material for fix and mobile infrastructure rollout (Optical accessories, Manholes, Ducts, Poles, Pylons, etc.), as well as Energy hardware for fix and mobiles sites (e.g. Batteries, DC Power Cabinets, UPS, Solar panels, etc.).

As part of a community of sourcers, teamwork and respectful mindset are key success factors to ensure good collaboration with our stakeholders and internal teams supporting our daily work (Legal, Digital team, etc.).

Your responsibilities

As Strategic Sourcer Energy Hardware, you will be in charge of several sub-categories covering  48V DC Power equipment / Cabinets, UPSI, Lead-acid / Lithium batteries, Gensets, Solar solutions and cooling solutions. Your role will consist in:

• Identifying procurement actions based on demands coming from countries, new technical needs, change in volumes, market disruptions.

• Building as project leader and executing procurement strategy following Buyin’s rules and dedicated milestones supported by our digital toolset.

• Independently managing the procurement process to negotiate best in class solutions until contract negotiation and signature, whilst achieving targets on savings and customer satisfaction.

• Monitoring suppliers in your portfolio, enhancing contractual terms (Sustainability, Artificial Intelligence …) and proactively managing potential risks (Geopolitical, transport risks, disruption on raw materials, …).

• Supporting procurement counterparts in the countries in contracts implementation and providing ad hoc support for local specific needs. Ensuring right level of communication with them, leveraging digital tools as well as personal interactions.

Your profile

You hold a Master degree in the area of Procurement, Legal, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or a similar qualification. You have ideally 5 years’ experience in procurement in an industrial context (ideally, but not mandatory in the telecommunications industry).

You also possess the following skills and experience:

• Interest in telecommunication and network related hardware and strong ability to quickly onboard on new technical and business areas

• Intercultural and international background with team player attitude.

• Ability to manage multi-million Euro projects. Strong analytical and conceptual capabilities

• Ability and high engagement to translate concepts into execution. Project management skills - meeting targets, ensuring quality standards are met and project planning is kept on track

• Strong expertise on contract management

• Fluency in English and French, German is a plus

• Willingness to travel
